The California Cart is designed to meet the stringent new California Retail Food Code legislation that was enacted in July of 2007. But this cart is designed to do more than just meet California government health regulations. It is truly a miniature restaurant on wheels. It was designed for the professional food vendor who wants a large capacity cart with lots of features and a large effiicient work area.
Unlike most hot dog carts, the California Cart is designed for the operator to work along its side rather than the end. This gives the vendor the full length of the cart as a work area. This maximizes operator efficiency and makes it an ideal vending unit for a very busy location.
The California cart features a large 5.5 cubic foot NSF approved refrigerator for your meat supply and sodas. The cart also has lots of under counter storage space for dry goods. In fact, there are three different handy storage areas for organizing all of your supplies.
The California cart is outfitted with triple steamer pans for reheating hot dog wieners and sausages. An optional Barbeque can be mounted for grilling dogs. Additional food preparation equipment can be installed including flat propane grills and fryers. The 120 volt AC power outlet enables electrical appliances such as a coffee maker to be used.
The water supply features a 12VDC powered hot and cold water system with 4 sinks as standard so that ware washing and hand washing can be done according to the Cal Code. The 20 gallon fresh water and 30 gallon waste water tanks also meet the California Retail Food Regulations.
Though this cart is equipped for high capacity and efficiency, it is surprisingly compact and easy to manuever into position. This makes it much easier to store at a commissary than our oversized competitors. The trailer hitch is removable for safety to prevent trip hazards.
