Why choose the "California Stand-In" cart?

The California Stand-In Cart is designed to meet the strict guidelines for enclosed mobile food facilities as outlined in the new California Retail Food Code legislation that was enacted in July of 2007.

The Stand-In cart is designed for the professional food vendor who wants a large capacity cart with lots of features and a large effiicient work area. Furthermore, it provides for all weather operation, as well as security for the operator and the equipment.

The enclosure measures 72" x 72", and is surprisingly roomy inside. A 6 foot tall operator will fit comfortably without having to stoop over. On request the cart can also be built with even more headroom to suit even taller workers.

Two work areas on opposite walls give the operator an amazing 12 feet of counter-top work space and under counter storage. The Stand-In model can therefore be equipped with an extensive array of food preparation equipment. It can even accomodate 2 operators simultaneously.

Standard equipment includes a Triple Steamer, a Barbeque, an NSF electric refrigerator, 120 volt electrical outlet, and a 12 volt DC powered pressurized water supply with 30 gallons of fresh water and a 50 gallon waste water tank. Four sinks are supplied standard to meet the strict Cal Code health regulations. Two propane tanks in external baskets are also supplied as standard equipment.

Because the California Stand-In unit has such a large internal capacity, a wide variety of optional equipment can be ordered with it. You can adapt this food stand to serve almost any type of food preparation that the health department allows. This flexibility makes this cart a very secure investment. Like all of our carts, the Stand-In model is built from heavy duty 18 gauge stainless steel thus giving you a long trouble free service life. The cart enclosure is mounted on a rugged highway rated trailer with a 1 ton suspension and is wired up with highway lights.
